  • Recently put together a 30 page report of analytics and UX research centered around one of our sites as we’re in the process of redoing the entire site
  • Learned how to edit PHP and Twig files that feed into our other main website, which is on Wordpress but we use Git and Beanstalk for version control
  • Editing pre-existing code and using old code to build new features
  • In the process of redesigning nearly every single page of one of our sites to fit the brand guide

Adventures in Missions COVID-19 page, trips section
Adventures in Missions | COVID-19 Page

One page (of many) on adventures.org that was built entirely by me. The section I'm most proud of is the trips section near the bottom, as I built that entirely from scratch based on an idea from my boss.

While in my current position, I've been working on redesigning the entire adventures.org website. A few of my designs have been put into place so far, the footer being one of them. The image, text, and button can all be customized for each page with Classic ASP variables. This was built entirely by me from scratch with Classic ASP and PHP.

World Race Live Chat feature
World Race | Instant Message Feature

The first thing I did at my current position was create this replacement for a third-party live chat feature that we wanted to get rid of. The form sends a message labeled as urgent to our Sales Team, and has built-in error handling. This was built with Twig and SCSS.

Interests

Apart from being a web developer, I have a background in the Visual Arts and experience as a Graphic Designer. I enjoy traveling when I get the chance and have a great interest in other cultures, especially Korean culture. When I travel I like to take adventures and not plan ahead, but instead have those around me recommend things to do and places to see.

I am a big consumer of movies and television, and particularly enjoy watching things in other Languages. I'm also a little bit of pretty much every kind of nerd you can think of as well. Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Disney, Kpop and Kdramas, Star Wars, etc. I also love a good game night full of competition and laughs.
